I had the good fortune of getting to know Dr .Álvaro de Noronha Ferreira when I was doing my CA.
I remember him as an elegant figure with a disarming smile and a gentle baritone voice that conveyed a strong will, a man of unpretentious simplicity, a quiet self confidence around his modest demeanour that was steeped in old world graces, so much out of place nowadays. He exuded integrity, and a genuinely caring attitude – a gentleman “par excellence”. I Thank you for sharing this article with me and, in case Dr Álvaro de Noronha Ferreira reads this, I Wish him, a Happy Birthday and to the entire Family my Very Best Wishes in the years ahead./Antonio Fonseca
