The various services in the church and our self mortification and charitable works help us to re-examine our relationship with our God and neighbour.

The special hymns of Lent are very appealing for me since childhood and some forms of abstinence can do a great good to the soul and body.

As you said Oscar our generation was lucky to have had simple minded Christian parents and family who planted deep our faith and it’s practices into us by the way they practised their faith. Hope the younger generation of today value equally their Christian Catholic faith.
